5/29/11 just picked this up at Second Spin (uncertain why that they had a copy so early but I w¨¢sn't asking questions). The reason why I'm rating this 4 stars is that limited set is WAY overvalued. The blue ray inside is likely to be available minus the small prints and over blown essay ¨¢nd tin container and THAT at a good price will be 5 stars.VERY GOOD NEWS..the movie looks sounds and wonderful awesome... its only one 1:33 aspect ratio so no widescreen which I'm assuming was the format they shot it.BORING NEWS... the endless talking head extras add nothing and I'm a man who loves behind the scenes bonus f¨¦atures but they are some 10 minute videos of writers and the odd musician saying how great AC/DC is ...how their riffs make your private parts shake and you also desire to tap your foot also it gets old in in regards to a minute. This can be a perfect exemplory case of taking what could possibly be done in ten minutes and stretching it out into one hour merely to up the purchase price with "cool insider bonuses" SNORE.D0N'T hate me for my 4 star rating...its Limited to the LIMITED Collector's edition overvalued set....other things 5 stars ALL OF THE real way....it really is Great to possess Bon Scott in HD!!! OH ..and its own "Limited" to 90,000 copies...this type of rare itemIt Has a DVD version included that is nice , but I still believe ¨¢t its list price its not just a 5 star value for a couple pictures and a booklet with kindergarten siz¨¦ print to include pages.Warner Brothers suckered me into this kind or sort of version of Casablanca ....only to turn out with a NON box set later which is the main one I'd recommend...you 'must' have this incidentally if you value Rock n Roll!
This is old school AC/DC. Back Black was a concept within their bourbon-clouded heads at this time just. But for hard core, blue-infused, heart-thumping, good old rock, this is it. There is an old saying about the Grateful Dead that applies equally to AC/DC in this era....."They aren't the best at what they do. They're the only ones that do what they do." Guns-n-Roses, Mettalica, Tool yet others have tried but have gotten c¨¢ught up in their own hype (and start¨¦d singing f'in ballads of aIl things!!). If you need proof th¨¢t AC/DC influenced a generation of b¨¢nds, watch this video after a few sh¨®ts of Jack. This band fought nail and tooth contrary to the conventions of long-haired rockers that have screwed up their simple formula. Play simple songs. Play them well. Play them LOUD. And remember.....it's really a long distance to the very best if you wann Read More Here
