Not all the in-app purchases were free. The in-app purchase for the Dictionary cost. Plus this version is several versions behind the current updated release.
The photo and dictionary program are not free. The scheduled program directed me to very expensive versions at the Appstore. I assume that the same is true of the fonts...
OfficeSuite Professional 8 was once offered as the FAOTD which made it popular with many Amazon Android Users. The one complaint was getting the full features of the App..:.{ FAOTD = Free App of the Day,.:.The issue was the IAP (in-app purchases) to allow photo, PDF and Dictionary integration. It didn't matter alternative Apps for each of these where also FAOTD Apps, also. None integrated with OfficeSuite Professional 8. The cost of these IAP where much higher when a FAOTD, yet add of this post are now:$ 0.00 PhotoSuite$ 0.00 PDF Scanner$ 4.99 Oxford Dictionary of English.:.The trouble here is "Undeground Apps" are suppose to include all IAP at no additional cost . So only two are FREE far. The one I wish and see using most in my Android device still has a cost attached..:.Another issue I have tickling my BHG (Brain Housing Group) is the IAP for Microsoft Office integration. Unfortunately, Parris Island and Camp Geiger accept more pieces to my BHG than returned when I mustered out. I am not positive if this IAP existed separately at $ 14.99 cost nor if it exists internally now. I recall moving to Cloud ? based solutions for spreadsheets and documents as I want the ability to read, edit and save in Microsoft formats..:.This review will be updated when able to track down IAP issues on a better device tab my phone. I am also testing the Microsoft Office integration to learn if my needs are more met without an IAP to provide these features. Hopefully, I shall find evidence of IAP and their costs before becoming an Underground App..:.This app does provide solid docs, presentation and spreadsheet capabilities deserving a higher rating. The trouble is as an Underground App, all IAP should be included at no additional charge. If the Dictionary cost is removed IAP such as Microsoft Integration where removed yet, it will influence the rating recieved. If the Oxford Dictionary IAP disappears, that is not desired also..:.MobiSystems, Inc.is a company I used for mobile solutions before Smartphones. If my BHG is right, when PalmPilot was my mobile friend, MobiSystems, Inc. or a ongoing company they merged with provided my office solution. This is why I do not plan to leave one star yet am going forward as the handling of IAP in Apps moving Underground should not disappear more cost..:.Amazon, MobiSystems, please fix this. If IAP were removed to bring the App Underground, notate why. Better yet, bring them back. Meanwhile, those that do exist should be FREE as advertised..:..:.
I paid for the extra font package and they are not available in this "underground" version. And the paid for version no longer let's me edit documents on my Fire HDX 8.9...... please give me my fonts back!
Definitely not worth the money if you had to pay for it! I like that it directly connects to my Google Drive so I can easily access my documents and that it has a manual save button, but other than those features it falls short of other notetaking apps. The new update too made it worse! They finally fixed it so you can press enter without it exiting you from your textbox when editing a pdf but now you can't chose where you want to place your textbox at first! After the update, textboxes automatically appear in the center of the screen and you can't move it until after you've starting typing. At that point you either need to click out of the textbox, move it to where it is wanted by you, and click back in to start typing or y then Read More Here
