The Power of SMART

This book offers a strong graphic organizer for generating "SMART" objectives (web page 18) with indicators and actions and targets. This displays how indicators and goals can be utilized by students along with teachers. It describes with examples how balanced (formative + summative) assessment may be used to promote achievement of important learning goals. This is a valuable reference for schools where the groups and educators are usually pursuing W. Edward Deming's quality management in classrooms.
